On the morning of the 2nd, when a helicopter operated by NHK was about to land at Okayama Airport in Okayama Prefecture, part of the fuselage was damaged.

An NHK cameraman on board the helicopter suffered a minor injury to his left hand in the accident.

Around 10:40 am on the 2nd, when a helicopter operated by NHK was about to land at Okayama Airport, it lost its balance and hit the ground, damaging part of the aircraft.



There were three people on board the helicopter: the captain, a mechanic, and an NHK cameraman. Of these, the cameraman was slightly injured on his left hand.



The other two were uninjured.



The helicopter took off from the Hiroshima heliport on the morning of the 2nd, and after taking pictures from the air in Okayama Prefecture, it was about to land at Okayama Airport for refueling.



According to the Okayama Airport Management Office, one spot for parking planes and helicopters was closed due to this accident, but it has not affected the operation of regular flights.



NHK said, "We take this accident seriously. We will respond appropriately after confirming the details."
