Seven people, including screenwriter and director Koki Mitani, have been selected as recipients of this year's NHK Broadcasting Culture Award, which is given to people who have contributed to the development of the broadcasting business and the improvement of broadcasting culture.

The following people have been awarded.

▽ In addition to writing scripts for three historical dramas, including "Kamakura-dono no Thirteen", he opened up a new aspect of the historical drama, and has written many popular dramas that remain in the hearts of viewers, including commercial broadcasters.
