Renaud performed on Tuesday February 21, 2023 at the Sébastopol theater in Lille.

But, as our colleagues from “La Voix du Nord” report, his concert almost turned sour… The interpreter of “Mistral Gagnant” indeed threatened to leave the stage after seeing some of his fans with phones laptops…

Renaud's reunion with his Lille audience did not really go as planned… Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the interpreter of

Mistral Gagnant

gave a concert at the Sébastopol theater in Lille.

A show that almost turned sour because of… cell phones!

"I don't want to sing anymore"

According to information from our colleagues from

La Voix du Nord,

Renaud could not bear that some of his fans took out their phones in the middle of a show.

"I don't want to sing anymore", let go of the singer before insulting one of the spectators.

The artist then resumed his show, as if nothing had happened.

If Renaud was particularly annoyed, it was because he had made it clear, before his concert, that he hated social networks.

Tuesday evening, at the entrance to the room, there was a very clear instruction: "Do not film and do not take photos".

Renaud's instruction was not respected

Spectators who found it difficult to part with their laptops were even picked up by security guards present in the stands.

Unfortunately for Renaud, his instructions were not very respected... His show was, despite himself, immortalized in photos and videos.

On Twitter, a journalist present in the stands shared the small form of the singer, whose voice was "in agony" and face "frozen".

"But he continues to lift his audience who cries out their love for him and sings with him from start to finish to support him. Sad, moving, magical", he concludes.

Proof that Renaud has always remained in the hearts of the French...

Renaud this evening at the Sébastopol in Lille: the voice is in agony, the frozen face, the heavy and hesitant steps, but he continues to lift his audience who shouts his love to him and sings with him from beginning to end to support him .

Sad, moving, magical.
