On the morning of the 18th, the JR Yamanote Line temporarily suspended operation due to a problem with the traffic signal, but resumed operation after 6:30 am.

The Yamanote Line is currently returning to regular intervals, but the Keihin-Tohoku Line, which was temporarily suspended due to the impact, continues to be disrupted, with delays of up to about 30 minutes.

Due to a problem with the traffic lights on the Yamanote Line, operation was suspended on all lines from 4:41 a.m. on the inner side and from 6:01 a.m. on the outer side.

According to JR East, the red lamp indicating stop at the traffic light between Hamamatsucho Station and Shimbashi Station did not switch, so the staff repaired it and resumed operation on the whole line after 6:30 am.

In addition, the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line also temporarily suspended operation on the northbound southbound route between Higashijujo Station and Shinagawa Station.

As of 7:00 a.m., the Yamanote Line is operating at regular intervals, but the Keihin-Tohoku Line continues to be disrupted, with delays of up to 30 minutes.
