Was a wolf seen in Côtes-d'Armor on November 10?

An animal that looked like a canine was seen near Plaintel, according to a volunteer who was marking a trail, reports Le Penthièvre.

A member of the Saint-Hubert hunting society, he is described as "serious" by the president of the association, but not an expert.

The animal, which was about twenty meters away, came out of the forest of Lorge and seemed to be heading towards Saint-Brandan.

Photos of the footprints would have been sent to the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB) for analysis.

A second report

Opinions on the presence of the wolf differ.

Hard to believe for the head of the OFB sector in the Côtes-d'Armor: “There are a lot of dogs that look like a wolf”.

The mayor of Plaintel, he takes the information seriously, as does the president of the hunting society who assures that "the forest of Lorge is conducive to the habitat of wild animals".

A similar report was made two days earlier in Goven, to the OFB.

But nothing indicates that it is the same animal.
