The 2022 edition of Main Square in Arras, in Pas-de-Calais, was a hit, and for good reason, it had been two years since the festival had taken place due to the coronavirus epidemic.

We already knew that there would be a 2023 edition, of course.

And today, the organization has just revealed the name of the first headliner who confirmed his arrival: the American group Maroon 5.

The Californian rockers celebrated this year the 20th anniversary of the release of their first album,

Songs about Jane

.

Album which forged their notoriety by bringing them a good package of rewards.

They have since released six more, the last of which,

Jordi

, in 2021, and sold nearly 40 million records worldwide.

Only festival date in France

In short, it is not a band of six-week-old rabbits that will perform on June 30, 2023, on the main stage in Main Square, at the citadel of Arras.

Moreover, it will be their only festival date in France that year.

Sales will open on November 30 for die-hard fans of the band.

The others can wait for the continuation of the programming which should be distilled over the next few months.
