On Thursday, November 10, on the online platforms Wink, IVI, Okko and Premier, the sci-fi series "Superposition" started showing with Pavel Tabakov ("Young Man", "Flock") and Konstantin Lavronenko ("Black Cat", "Inquisitor ") starring.

Also starring in the film are Lukerya Ilyashenko (“Sergius against evil spirits”), Igor Zhizhikin (“The guy from our cemetery”), Dmitry Bogdan (“Kalashnikov”), Nikita Sanaev (“Inadequate people 2”), Vladimir Karpuk (“Cipher”) and other actors.

The director was Vadim Valiullin, who previously worked on the series "Zyoma", and the author of the idea was Sergey Efremov, he also wrote the script in collaboration with Maxim Borisov and Dmitry Skachkov.

The plot revolves around physics student Alexei, whose father, a professor of quantum mechanics, suddenly disappears.

From the investigator and his team, the hero learns that his father was not only a teacher at the university, but also an outstanding scientist who discovered the multiverse, namely 125 alternative worlds.

According to the scientist's theory, any outside interference can lead to irreversible consequences for each of the worlds, including in the form of complete destruction.

However, in order to find his father, Alexei will have to travel to different worlds and inevitably influence different events.

For example, he will try to stop the main villain, who wants to appropriate not only the achievements of the professor, but also become the sole owner of the entire universe.

The main character is interesting for his breadth of views and nobility: Alexei is a classic botanist who spent many years of his life behind textbooks.

At the same time, he is friends with two inveterate swindlers and businessmen.

The character himself is romantic and monogamous, while his friends change partners almost every day.

At some point, they betray Alexei for the sake of new opportunities, but he, sympathetic and somewhat naive, forgives them.

Unlike this trinity, other actors perform several roles at once.

If in our reality the hero Lavronenko is a father and a scientist, in others he appears as a crime boss from the 1990s or a local antagonist.

Igor Zhizhikin also plays good and evil versions of his character.

The plot, despite the complex theory of multiple worlds, is simple and completely understandable.

In the first three episodes, the motives of the characters are clearly indicated and the main theme is set, the development of which is very interesting to watch.

Filmmakers do not load the viewer with complex scientific terms, but only carefully and gradually prepare him for immersion in a fantastic plot.

The heroes cite textbooks on quantum physics, higher mathematics and other related disciplines, thus presenting a brief educational program for those who are “you” with science.

True, if for some it turns out very naturally, then sometimes it is hard to believe that others actually have this knowledge.

Naturally, in "Superposition", as in any decent fantasy project, there were some special effects.

And here they are done quite well: scenes with gunfights, chases and movements are spectacular, beautiful and quite convincing.

Gradually, the series drags on so much that it begins to seem as if moving to parallel worlds occurs all the time.

It is possible that the picture will serve as a kind of bridge that will inspire the younger generation to do science.

And in general, the tape is unlikely to captivate fans of the same more serious Interstellar, but it can interest a mass audience in science.

The locations for each world are perfectly thought out and selected: for example, in one where the annihilation process is launched, water is in short supply, and people live in a constant dust storm at an air temperature of over 35 degrees Celsius, and in the other, on the contrary, an abundance of greenery and an atmosphere of complete harmony with nature reigns.

True, all the worlds are presented somewhat exaggerated: when viewing, a feeling of joy and horror arises at the same time, if one imagines that they are all real.

In general, the picture is made with high quality, and not only technically and visually.

The plot is well thought out, and the actors are organic in their images.

It is especially worth noting Konstantin Lavronenko, who masterfully transforms from one character to another, and sometimes plays several at once in one frame.

Serious situations are diluted with their specific humor by the characters of Sanaev and Karpuk, who play such good-natured scumbags.

Throughout the tape, they are either joking or doing illegal things.

The ensemble is slightly diluted by Lukerya Ilyashenko, who from time to time tries to copy Michelle Rodriguez in The Fast and the Furious and looks like a caricature.

The series, with all the seriousness of the main idea, is full of funny and wonderful moments: it doesn’t fit in my head, for example, that a person traveling through parallel worlds is surprised at the words “backup” or “backup”.
