Two historians have emphasized that writing, documenting and writing history in the age of digitization and technology needs more accuracy, reliability and honesty than ever before.

The two participants in the symposium "Writing History in the Digital Age", hosted by the Sharjah International Book Fair, as part of the Italy Guest of Honor program, considered that the controversial question "Who writes history?"

The session brought together Emirati researcher Sheikha Al Jabri and the Italian Egyptologist Christian Greco.

Al-Jabri said, "The task of writing history is very sensitive and dangerous."
