The police caught a drunk driver three times within twelve hours.

As reported by the traffic directorate in Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate, the 61-year-old man was caught for the first time on Sunday morning in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The officers then prohibited him from proceeding.

According to the information, the man was caught again just two hours later in Rhineland-Palatinate on the motorway with just under 1.6 per thousand.

His driver's license was then revoked and the officers confiscated the man's car key.

The police then came across the 61-year-old for the third time on Sunday afternoon.

The still drunk probably took a taxi to where his car was parked and got a spare key from a friend.

He was then brought back to the office.

There, "the third blood sample was taken within twelve hours," the police reported.

His car was confiscated.
