Three members of a Central African armed group have been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 20 years to life for "crimes against humanity" in an initial verdict by the Special Criminal Court (CPS), charged with investigating the atrocities committed in this country in civil war for nine years.

Denouncing crimes against "all humanity", the prosecution demanded life imprisonment in Paris on Monday for the former Liberian rebel commander Kunti Kamara, tried for abuses committed during the civil war and whose defense pleaded acquittal due to "lack of evidence"
