The person in charge confirmed the position of the light and turned it on after 5:00 pm. About 15 LED lights illuminated the pond, and the blue color of the pond emerged in the darkness.

Tourists who were present exclaimed, "Wow!"

A woman in her 20s from Osaka said with a smile, "I'm very lucky to be able to see such a sight. I want to come see her again with her family."

Mr. Reiji Nakawatari of Biei Town's Commerce, Industry and Tourism Exchange Division said, "The night view is also wonderful, so I would like many people to visit."

The Blue Pond will be lit up from November 1st to April 30th next year.
