The program manager for the concert is Parisa Amiri, and between the performances features and conversations are broadcast which, according to a press release, "teach us more about the situation in Iran and provide a deeper understanding of various aspects of the protest movement".
"There are many of us around the world who are affected by the Iranian women's fight for freedom and human rights.
This concert is a tribute to their courage," says program director Eva Beckman in the press release.
The concert is broadcast both on SVT Play and SVT2.
