[Explanation] On October 24th, the expedition ceremony of the Southeast University team members of China's 39th Antarctic Scientific Expedition was held in Nanjing. Two teachers, Zhang Kanjian and Ge Jian, were about to go to Antarctica on behalf of Southeast University to carry out this scientific expedition mission.

On the same day, a new generation of unattended energy supply module developed by Southeast University - "Dongda Jieng 2.0" was shipped from the commissioning base and is ready to be sent to Kunlun Station in the Antarctic inland.

[Explanation] "Dongda Polar Energy" is the first domestic polar unattended energy system put into operation in China. It is a "polar mobile power supply" that can supply power 24 hours a day, providing energy for various instruments and equipment in the extreme Antarctic environment and remote monitoring support.

There are mainly power generation equipment, energy storage equipment, photovoltaic equipment, and the whole constitutes a complete smart energy cabin. Because the system itself faces harsh conditions, it has very high requirements from design, material selection, installation and commissioning. Require.

[Explanation] Since 2009, the Southeast University team has been committed to the research and development of polar unattended energy systems, and the project team members have worked together to overcome many problems.

Everyone in the project team hopes to contribute "East Great Power" to the polar scientific expedition, and provide technological and intellectual support for China to understand, protect and utilize the Antarctic.

The smart energy cabin is completely unattended, and we can see the situation outside the cabin through the camera on the top of the cabin.

We design the battery life should be more than one year.

[Explanation] It is understood that the main tasks of Southeast University's scientific expedition to Antarctica include four: first, put into operation the unattended energy supply module of Kunlun Station; second, commission and install the unattended intelligent cabin of Zhongshan Station; Remote control unattended energy supply module; Fourth, put into operation the unattended energy supply system of Ross Sea New Station.

Previously, Southeast University has successively dispatched five people, Wei Haikun, Ge Jian, Fang Shixiong, Liu Xibei, and Wu Changde to Kunlun Station, Taishan Station, and Zhongshan Station in Antarctica to complete relevant scientific research tasks.
