On the afternoon of the 26th, the police received a report from Hida Air Park, an airport in Takayama City, stating, "There is a possibility that the motor glider is missing because there is no contact even at the arrival time."



When the police searched by helicopter, they confirmed that the motor glider had crashed in the mountains of Takane-cho Nakabora, Takayama City, about 20 kilometers southeast of the airport.



According to "Hida Air Park", two people, a man in his 80s and an employee of Hida Air Park in his 60s, were on board the motor glider. It was planned to land at Toyama Airport on .
