On October 24, in the waters near Tianweijiao of the Qiongzhou Strait, a fishing boat lost power due to a sudden failure.

At 10:20 a.m. that day, the Haikou Coast Guard Bureau immediately launched a rescue plan after receiving an alarm from the masses, and dispatched a ship to rush to the area where the incident occurred.

At that time, the Qiongzhou Strait had a wind force of level 7, and the waves were 2 meters high.

Coast Guard law enforcement officers immediately resorted to skimming and towing to rescue the fishing boat.

However, at this time, due to the bad sea conditions, the cable of the fishing boat was stretched, causing the water anchor to fall off, and the fishing boat began to drift disorderly with the swell.

At the critical moment, the coast guard law enforcement officers successfully brought the cable to the target fishing boat with their superb cable skimming technology, and eliminated the danger in time.

Subsequently, the coast guard ship towed the fishing boat back to Haikou New Port by means of slow towing, and all three trapped fishermen on board were rescued.

At present, the fishing boat has been moored at Haikou New Port for maintenance, and the three fishermen are in good health.
