Dany Boon was sentenced on appeal for the unfair dismissal of his former partner Laurent Storch.

The actor and director of "Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis" will have to pay him 110.00 euros in damages.

Dany Boon had hired Laurent Storch in 2013 development director of the performing arts company Les Productions du Chicon.

Dany Boon will have to take out his checkbook.

According to information from L'informé this Wednesday, October 26, the actor was ordered to pay 110,000 euros to his former right-hand man Laurent Storch for "unfair, brutal and vexatious" dismissal.

Dismissed at the prud'hommes on May 13, 2019, Dany Boon's former friend won his appeal.

Laurent Storch and Dany Boon had been friends for several years

Laurent Storch left his position as production director at TF1 in 2013 to become the development director of the live performance company Les Productions du Chicon, chaired by Dany Boon.

The media specialist and the actor had already been friends for several years.

Laurent Storch also chaired Les Productions du Ch'timi and HBB26, two audiovisual companies belonging to Dany Boon.

Laurent Storch wins his case

But, in 2016, the shareholders of Productions du Chicon alerted Laurent Storch to the financial difficulties of the company.

According to the lawyer of

Laurent Storch, the latter would have been summoned to a preliminary interview in January 2017 before being finally dismissed for economic reasons a few months later.

The former production director of TF1 therefore attacked Dany Boon at the prud'hommes, initially claiming nearly 360,000 euros in "damages and interest and unpaid overtime".

In July 2019, the businessman was dismissed and therefore decided to appeal.

In the second instance, the justice decided to win the case to Laurent Storch.

Dany Boon is thus sentenced for "unfair dismissal" and must pay 110,000 euros to his former right arm.

Since his dismissal, the businessman has converted and now leads a career as a consultant and lecturer, can we read in the columns of
