[Explanation] Every Monday, 20 registered sources are open for the dark circle special outpatient clinic of the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Department of Nanjing Second Hospital. Hu Liang, the deputy chief physician of plastic surgery with 13 years of medical experience, is the attending doctor of this clinic.

(Treatment) Dark circles belong to the category of beauty and "improvement needs". The causes are more complicated. There are congenital and acquired ones. They are mainly young people, from 20 to 40 years old. Generally speaking, Prefers to the younger crowd.
[Explanation] Hu Liang said that dark circles are mainly divided into three types, namely pigment type, vascular type and structural type.
The pigmented type is related to the deposition of melanin around the eyes, which is dark brown; the vascular type is because the dermis around the eyes is thinner, and the blood vessels under the skin will look more obvious, showing a blue-purple color; the structural type is because of the tear groove , bags under the eyes and other problems, causing the light to form shadows under the eyes.
There are also people who have dark circles that are a combination of these three types, also known as mixed dark circles.

This kind of dark circles caused by facial aging, such as tear troughs or eye bags, can be almost completely improved by surgery, but pigmentation type (dark circles), this treatment is definitely effective, (but) it is a long-term (treatment) process.
[Explanation] In addition to natural aging, UV exposure, cosmetic residues, staying up late, and excessive stress may all cause dark circles.
To this end, Hu Liang also gave relevant suggestions: reducing staying up late, using your eyes properly, relaxing after using your eyes for a long time, and wearing sunglasses to prevent photoaging can all play a preventive role.
