The Italian Arab Women Association (AIWA) and the Montdomini Foundation for the Care of the Elderly have designed a memorial plaque in the name of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (Mother of the Emirates), attached to the main entrance to the Montdomini Foundation, as an expression of thanks and gratitude For the humanitarian gesture of Her Highness, as she helped with her generous donation to alleviate the suffering of elderly people infected with the “Covid-19” virus and who are receiving treatment at the Foundation in the Italian city of Florence.
The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Reem Al Falasi, unveiled the commemorative plaque in a special ceremony organized on this occasion during her visit to the Foundation in the Italian city of Florence, in the presence of the State Ambassador to the Italian Republic Omar Obaid Muhammad Al-Hussan Al Shamsi, Deputy Mayor of Florence Elicia Pettiini, and the Secretary-General of the Women’s Association Arabic Italian Randa Eid, President of the Italian Arab Women's Association Mafalda Savoy, President of the Cesvot Volunteer Services Center Luigi Pacuzzi, and Director General of the Montedomini Foundation Emanuela Pellicano.
On the other hand, Al Reem Al Falasi gifted the Montdomeni Foundation for the Care of the Elderly a painting of the Emirati artist Ashwaq Abdullah, in acrylic colors, with wax and gold leaf colors, symbolizing the Emirati woman in traditional dress, and suggesting her through the fine details such as the muffled kandora, the shayla and the burqa, and the aesthetic of the artwork lies In the features and loftyness of Emirati women since ancient times.
