Because of the "Social Media" comments..twins spend a fortune on plastic surgery

Twin sisters Chi and Chika Yoshikawa became famous in Japan and the world for the fortune they spent on plastic surgery time and time again in an effort to achieve the "perfect look", and to please people's comments on their photos on social media.

The two sisters revealed old photos of them before the series of operations they carried out, which cost approximately 248,000 pounds, and which were sometimes carried out because someone commented on a detail of their appearance only.

Cosmetic procedures ranged from filler injections and face-lifts to multiple nose jobs and double eyelid surgery.

Although the duo had to go through a lot of pain and recovery time as a result - they don't regret it, and they say their "obsession with changing their faces started when they were kids and people always used to compare them.

They said the constant comparisons had taken a toll on their mental health, and they ended up looking in the mirror to examine their faces to try to spot 'flaws'. Once they were old enough, they realized that having a scalpel was the simplest way to improve their image.

But the twins didn't have the same procedures, so not everything from the surgery is the same.

Together they managed to spend around £248,000 on medical bills, and Chica's most recent procedure was to remove fat from the corners of her mouth as well as to remove fat from between her cheekbones and nasolabial folds.
