The man drove almost unbraked into a car with a trailer on Sunday on Autobahn 93 near Regnitzlosau (Hof district), the police said.

As a result of the impact, the car was thrown into the crash barrier and badly damaged, the trailer was torn off and also damaged.

The 54-year-old driver was unharmed.
