The President of Niger Mohamed Bazoum granted an interview to Marc Perelman and Christophe Boisbouvier in New York, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

He is concerned about the deterioration of the security situation in Mali.

He also speaks on the case of Ivorian soldiers detained in Mali, recalling that the Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara had worked hard for the lifting of ECOWAS sanctions against Mali.

"I consider that he was betrayed and me too," he asserts.
