Liam Gallagher tries to put together a supergroup with John Squire (Stone Roses)

Liam Gallagher has confirmed that he has plans with Stone Roses guitarist John Squire to form a supergroup.

At the beginning of June, the ex of Oasis had asked John Squire to play with him at the Knebworth concert, notably on Champagne Supernova, the 1995 hit. He then tweeted “Super group is coming LG JS”.

According to NME, it wasn't idle tweets: in a recent interview on Apple Music 1, Liam Gallagher claimed that the two musicians were going to work together.
