Welcome to Xiaoxin talk show, I am Baima Yuzhen from Tibet.

Today is the first day of the Tibetan traditional "Bath Festival", and our story starts from "He who came from the stars".

Legend has it that a long time ago, after the death of Yundan Kampo, the "King of Medicine" with excellent medical skills in Tibet, he returned to the kingdom of heaven, but unfortunately suffered a plague in the world.

The "King of Medicine" saw that the people were suffering and anxious, and after receiving the permission of the gods, he turned himself into a star, and let his medical skills, medicine and love for the people turned into starlight to the world.

After the plague-stricken people bathed in the star-lit river water, the disease quickly receded.

Since then, the "King of Medicine" has transformed into "Gamaduiba Star", which is what we call Venus. When Tibetan friends appear in the night sky in early autumn every year, Tibetan friends start a week-long "Bath Festival".

This custom has lasted for more than 800 years.

Although the legend of "Bath Festival" is full of mystery, there are also many medical principles.

Some people believe that the snow water on the mountain flows through the mountain slopes covered with precious herbs such as snow lotus, and dissolves precious medicinal ingredients, which can cure all diseases when bathing.

The custom of bathing has also been valued and applied by Tibetan medicine scholars, and then developed into a unique Tibetan medicine treatment - Tibetan medicine bath.

At present, affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic, although everyone cannot go to the river to take a bath, but they also plan to clean the house at home, take a hot bath, and cook ethnic specialties with their families, hoping that the days when the epidemic will pass will come soon.

In the past few days, more and more good news has come from Tibet's epidemic prevention and control, and cities that have been dynamically cleared and restored to normal order have appeared one after another.

Reality is different from legend. Of course, bathing under the starlight of Yaowang cannot make the new crown epidemic fade away.

The continuous improvement of the situation is inseparable from the selfless dedication of local medical staff on the front line and medical support from all over the country.

Today's Tibet is guarded by "they who came from the stars".

Finally, Bai Yu is also here to express his gratitude to all the medical staff who have contributed to the epidemic prevention in Tibet. He sincerely hopes that all "you from the stars" will have a good rest after the epidemic. You are also welcome to come to Tibet after the epidemic. Experience the Tibetan style in a relaxed and pleasant way.
