) in France, a specific vaccination center has just been made available by the city of Nantes within the Léo-Lagrange gymnasium.

Accessible by reservation only via Doctolib, the sports equipment, located right next to the Gloriette swimming pool, will offer up to 360 weekly slots per week, on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons.

Six health professionals, as well as six municipal agents, are mobilized to welcome patients.

“There was a significant demand for vaccination.

The slots for this Wednesday were already full.

Those of Saturday and Sunday are almost so, ”indicates the regional health agency (ARS).

In Pays-de-la-Loire, vaccination against monkey pox was already possible in six health establishments, including the Nantes University Hospital.

Some 3,650 confirmed cases of people positive for

have been identified to date, including 80 in this region.

The High Authority for Health recommends offering so-called preventive vaccination


to people who are particularly at risk of contracting the disease, in particular people who have sex with multiple partners.
