Guizhou Forest Wildlife Park asks the society for help to buy feed?

The garden side: the shortage problem has been solved, and the logistics and transportation will be opened up

On September 6, it was reported on the Internet that Guizhou Forest Wildlife Park asked the society for help to purchase feed, and popular science writers such as "Flowers Fall" and other big V forwarded it, attracting the attention of netizens.

Guizhou Forest Wildlife Park was closed on September 5 due to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

There is a huge population of wild animals raised in the park, 70% of which are national first- and second-class rare wild animals.

The zoo asks the society for help to purchase: 125kg/day of live chickens, 1190kg of frozen chicken bones, 800kg of apples, 1700kg of carrots...

On September 7, Chengdu Business Daily-Red Star News contacted Ms. Wang, a staff member of the zoo.

Ms. Wang said that the current shortage of animal feed has been basically resolved.

"There is no shortage of feed on the list now. We were worried about the food of the beasts at first, because beef was not easy to buy recently. Later, we replaced it with live chickens, which can now be delivered directly to the zoo."

Ms. Wang said that the amount given in the list is 10 days, and the park itself has three to five days of inventory, so the current feed is enough.

Xiuwen County, where the zoo is located, entered temporary static management on September 6.

Ms. Wang introduced that after the temporary static management, it was inconvenient for internal and external personnel to enter and exit, many logistics parks were closed and closed, and feed distribution became a problem.

"After we issued the purchase list, the government took the lead in organizing a group for material needs, and the company sent what it needed to the group. People in the group and some big V helped us forward it, and many enthusiastic friends called to think about it. To donate, we all refused first."

Ms. Wang said that in fact, the park does not need donations, but just wants to buy, hoping to open up supply channels.

At present, the park has made contact with several large enterprises such as Hema Xiansheng, JD.com, Wal-Mart and the local Heli supermarket.

The zoo also reported the problem of "difficulty in transportation" to the relevant government departments, and received a reply: "It will help key supply companies to solve the problem of materials arriving in Guiyang from outside the city and distribution within the city."

In the past two days, I have been applying for a pass for the transportation vehicle. After the online declaration of the type of transportation materials, the origin and destination, and the nucleic acid certificate of the driver, the vehicle can successfully arrive at the park.

It is reported that there are currently 76 employees left at the zoo, and netizens are also concerned about their lives. Some netizens asked, "Are the steamed buns needed in the park for the employees?"

Ms. Wang explained that there are steamed buns in the feed of golden monkeys, gibbons and other animals, and the current supply of steamed buns is sufficient.

According to reports, the left-behind employees have been assigned positions to ensure the normal operation of the park and the stable condition of the animals.

"The zoo has been closed for management since September 5th. On that day, we prepared rice, noodles, oil, etc., as well as more potatoes and carrots. We quickly stocked up food for employees. Because of the large amount of animal feed, we asked the society for help. Subscription."
