Girl with four eyebrows after a botched tattoo

A young Thai woman's attempt to straighten her eyebrows by tattooing in preparation for a tourist trip with her friends ended in shock, after she looked in the mirror to see that she had four eyebrows.

In order to prepare for a tourist trip with her friends, the 32-year-old Nibapron Mieken, 32, visited a beauty parlour, with a friend recommending an eyebrow tattoo.

"I remember planning a trip with my friends and I wanted my new brows to look beautiful," Nebabron said.

So, "a friend suggested me a clinic, but after the operation, I looked in the mirror and was unable to speak."

The young woman paid 1,500 baht (about $41 in local currency) at the clinic in Rayong province, Thailand, and when she looked in the mirror after finishing work, she discovered two dark arcs drawn above her natural eyebrows, making her look like four.

To have the extra eyebrows removed, Nippapron tried to contact the clinic to correct the error, only to discover that the clinic closed abruptly the next day, so she was unable to contact the owners.

The 32-year-old said she felt so insecure that she hid in the house for a year until another tattoo artist offered to fix her eyebrows for free.

And social networking sites reported that the girl aroused the sympathy of many, who donated to help her, especially from workers in this field.

A specialist explained on his page that the rescue process will take three months, as the old ink must be removed so that its color fades before tattooing the new eyebrows.

The happy young woman commented, “I had a hard time living with four eyebrows on my forehead, but luckily I found a new specialist to help me get back to a normal life.”
