"Tang Yu"...the world's first operational robot CEO
The famous Chinese game company Net Dragon Websoft has appointed the company's first executing robot, the robot it named Tang Yu.
The AI bot took over as general manager of the main subsidiary of Net Dragon Websoft last August, according to a statement from the company, which is now the world's first (and in history) to appoint a bot as its CEO.
A company statement, carried by Twenty Four Seven Prime, explained the reason for the decision, and said, "Artificial intelligence is able to carry out and deal with the daily tasks of the CEO, but the main reason behind the decision is the possibility of focusing on risk management."
"We believe that AI is the future of corporate management, and our appointment of Mr. (or Ms) Tang Yu represents our commitment to embracing the use of AI to change the way we do business," the statement added.
The move is related to the company's growth and the nature of its business, company founder Dijian Lu said, "Pushing our future strategic growth forward, we will continue to expand our algorithms behind Tang Yu to build a highly open, interactive and transparent management model as we gradually transform into a metaverse working community, enabling It will enable us to attract a much wider base of talent around the world and put us in a position to achieve even greater goals.”
Net Dragon Websoft is a Chinese mobile game development company founded in 1999, which has produced well-known mobile games such as Eudemons Online, Heroes Evolved, Conquer Online and Under Oath.
Nate Dugon has acquired US education software publisher JumpStart Games.
Earlier, it allowed its business to expand further.
