In early September, the Gila Grand Canyon in Fuhai County, Altay, Xinjiang, was like a three-dimensional painting on the ground under the sunlight.
Gila Grand Canyon is located in the hinterland of the Gurbantunggut Desert. It is about 120 kilometers long and about 3 kilometers wide from north to south. The rock mass of the canyon is composed of glutenite, which is an ancient sea geological deposit from the Jurassic to the Cretaceous period. , creating today's Yadan and Danxia geological ecology with dense ravines and steep cliffs.
