Despite the fact that the German Chancellor, Social Democrat Olaf Scholz, at a joint press conference held last weekend with representatives of the FDP, SPD and, of course, the Greens now dominant in German politics, tried to stay as cheerful as possible, there are certain doubts that in the recent In the past, a good, in principle, financier, talking about the current energy crisis, so diligently bypassed the main problem of the national German economy by a purely coincidental coincidence.

Here, after all, what's the matter: in Germany, the upcoming autumn-winter will not only be cold.

With this, maybe (if, of course, we are lucky and the coming winter will be relatively mild, and the propaganda will be heavy), the current authorities of the federal republic will somehow cope.

Here the problem is different.

However, let's go in order.

That part of Scholz's speech, in which he once again stated that Russia can no longer be considered a reliable supplier of energy resources, we, perhaps, will not particularly analyze here: this is the usual “political blah blah blah”.

Moreover, “blah blah blah” is from the same series, for which the former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk, albeit for a completely different reason, completely fearlessly called the current German chancellor, excuse me, “offended liverwurst”.

So let's add a couple of strokes.

It’s just that with the departure of, perhaps, the last at least somehow nationally oriented German leader (Angela Merkel), it became clear to everyone that the current German authorities can manage the situation in their country in about no way.

But Herr Scholz still needs to say something to his own voters: do not openly admit that it’s not even a matter of incompetence, but that the Scholz government is not working in the interests of Germany.

And he acts in a conflict with Russia strictly according to the classical political science definition “in the interests of third countries”, while fulfilling strictly defined instructions and directives.

Well, this, apparently, is the historical fate of this people: the Germans, in general, have something to pay for.

True, I personally do not quite understand why the German burghers should pay in the USA.

Okay, here's something else that's interesting.

We quote.

“Since December last year, with the Minister of Economy and a consultant to the Chancellor’s office, we have been looking for an answer to the question: what will happen if this (the cessation of energy supplies from Russia. -

D.L.

) happens?”

- said Mr. Scholz, apparently proud of his thoughtfulness and enterprise.

Somehow, at the same time, I slightly forgot that in December last year there was even no talk of any special military operation in Ukraine.

Moreover, at that time, at least formally, the Minsk agreements were in force, in which Germany, for a second, was listed as one of the main "guarantors".

And the Americans, after Biden's talks with Merkel, lifted sanctions even from Nord Stream 2.

No one even thought about the first Nord Stream, including along the “American line”.

At that time, they were more worried about the fate of the Ukrainian GTS.

And Olaf Scholz with the green minister Habek even then, it turns out, was preparing the collapse of at least the German energy sector (it's not just about Russian gas - just recall that it was then that they defiantly stopped the nuclear power plant).

And such a sincere confession, you know, is worth a lot.

What is called, "in memory".

Or for a future trial.

But further begins, in fact, the invoice.

“We will survive this winter,” the current head of the exemplary prosperous German state, it would seem, said with some pride, even quite recently, upon his assumption of office.

Then he announced financial support to citizens for €65 billion "due to rising inflation."

And this, it must be admitted, is indeed the largest of the three financial assistance packages that the German government has allocated to citizens since last February.

We will just modestly remind here that before that, the German authorities had already accepted two packages of benefits worth €30 billion. Apparently, so far it has somehow not helped much.

And it won't help.

Because, we repeat, the main thing in the current energy crisis is not even the lack of heat in the homes of honest burghers (well, its limited presence).

As well as the lack of light on city streets or hot water in the shower.

In general, ordinary Germans in this sense, of course, are a little purely humanly sorry.

But this is far from the worst - nothing, they will adapt.

Here the problem is different: the burghers, it seems, will have to become not only unwashed and frozen.

They, most importantly, have to become unemployed.

Because not even private households will bear the brunt.

The main blow, of course, will fall on industrial production.

Which are already starting to “collapse” right now, and in real time.

Remember what the head of BASF Martin Brudermüller said back in the spring, how long his world's largest chemical concern would live without Russian gas?

Or do you think things are different in other industries?

Oh well.

And for some reason, Olaf Scholz did not say anything about this.

He didn't tell indicatively.

It can even be stated that it is somewhat defiant.

Or because he didn't have much to say.

Or because he is faced with just such a task: to fulfill the will of his "real employers", to beat the German industry.

And along with it, the German (but what's the German!) - the entire European economy.

And it was precisely this scenario that they then “with the Minister of Economics and the consultant of the Chancellor’s Office” thought about in December 2021, which was still quite prosperous.

If this is true, then this explains everything more or less logically.

And Mr. Scholz can only be congratulated: his pink-green government is doing just brilliantly with this task.

Even ahead of schedule approved somewhere overseas.

There is no need to invent anything here: before our eyes, everything that the predecessors of the current head of the FRG have been creating for many decades is rapidly being destroyed.

Real professionals, in short, work: the same Angela Merkel would definitely not have been able to do that.

And the current ones - nothing, cope.

Well, the only thing left for us is to observe what is happening with some, frankly, very understandable amazement.

And learn at least this time not from your own bitter experience: look, children, what happens to people and economies when “American-style democracy” unexpectedly wins in your country.
