On August 26, the reporter learned from the Guangxi Maritime Affairs Department that under the influence of this year's No. 9 typhoon "Masa", a gust of magnitude 10 occurred along the coast of Qinzhou Port in Guangxi, with a wave height of 2 to 3 meters.

At 20:28 on August 25, the Qinzhou Maritime Search and Rescue Center received an alarm: a fishing raft was blown away by strong winds in the waters near the Longmen of Qinzhou Port. Five people were in danger. The situation was very critical and urgently needed rescue.

After receiving the report, the Qinzhou Maritime Search and Rescue Center immediately launched a third-level response to the maritime search and rescue emergency, coordinating the emergency duty tugboat and the law enforcement officers of the Qinzhou Port Maritime Department to search and rescue the scene.

At 21:10 that day, maritime law enforcement officers arrived at the scene to carry out rescue.

At 21:30, maritime search and rescue personnel found 4 people on the fishing raft in distress and nearby fishing rafts, and successfully transferred the 4 people onto the boat.

Due to the dark sea at night and the difficulty of the search caused by the typhoon, another person is still missing.

The on-site search and rescue personnel continued to search in the nearby waters by means of searchlights and loudspeakers. At the same time, they contacted the anchorage ship in Qinzhou Port and asked to strengthen the lookout to assist in the search for the missing persons.

Finally, at 23:26, the on-site search and rescue personnel found that the missing person was trapped on another oyster platoon. With the cooperation of the tugboat and a small boat involved in the rescue, the search and rescue personnel successfully transferred the trapped person to shore safely.

At present, the five rescued people are in good health.
