The House of Philosophy, in cooperation with the Fujairah Environment Authority, organized a summer program for children under the title "Our Summer is Sustainability", a workshop for children under the title: "What if the Earth spoke?"

Presented and prepared by Ray Abdel-Aal, based on the book Nature and Pollution (from a series of 20 philosophical books for children translated by Al-Bayt (translated by: Dr. Basil Al-Zein), and organizing workshops based on it).

Trainer Ray said: "The workshop was a stimulus to the mind and imagination, as strategies were used that included thinking skills, and was characterized by a rhythm appropriate to the ages of the children and their response, and it strengthened the team spirit, and worked to create questions and provoke discussion on several topics in the book on which it was based, and the environment in general." .

The House of Philosophy workshop in Fujairah aimed to involve the future generation in the process of identifying environmental problems and the dangers of pollution, so its title came in the form of a question that provokes thinking among children.

It was also divided into nine stages. Each stage included a set of imaginative interactive activities that stimulated children's imagination, sharpened their thinking, enhanced their initiatives, and formed their opinions, such as drawing a black dot in the middle of a white paper, asking children what they see, and taking answers, to become clear later after enlarging the picture. The point is the globe.

After the end of the nine activities, the children were able to distinguish the positive and negative sides of any human discovery, and then distinguish the actions that harm the environment, and the actions that would preserve it.

 Ray Abdel-Aal:

“The workshop worked to create questions and provoke discussion on several topics in the book on which it was based, and the environment in general.”
