On Monday evening, Javis Cocker spoke with the British newspaper The Guardian about his new book "Good Pop, Bad Pop" at a live event.

During the subsequent Q&A, the singer confirmed that Pulp will be performing next year.

Further details on where or when the concerts will take place are currently unknown.

Pulp was at its greatest in the 90s and are known for songs such as "Common people" and "Disco 2000".

They are seen as one of the big four Britpop bands, along with Oasis, Blur and Suede.

The last time the band reunited on stage was in the years 2011–2013, when they did, among other things, a gig at the festival Way Out West in Gothenburg.

Since 2013, they have not made any appearances.
