ERE case: a personal gain at the service of the PSOE

From his positions as president, the first, and Minister of Economy and Finance, the second, both facilitated the procedure that allowed carrying out the greatest

of the patronage network woven by the Andalusian socialists for the benefit of their militants and to the detriment of Andalusia.

The looting perpetrated by the Socialist Party, embezzling 679 million euros that were intended for the Andalusian unemployed, shows the corruption that prevailed within the Andalusian PSOE and the regime to which this region was subjected for almost four decades.

From the 25,000 euros per month spent by the driver of the former General Director of Employment

in the purchase of cocaine for his own consumption and that of his boss with the money from public aid, to the continued waste of public funds by the one who was an Employment Counselor

, the extra commissions charged by the mediators of the ERE or the sprees in brothels paid for with money from Andalusians, the diversion of money was systemic.

Thanks to the revelations of this newspaper, always faithful to the investigative journalism that makes up its hallmark, and to the judicial instruction of the judge

, that bottomless pit of corruption on which the Andalusian PSOE was sustained was exposed and that has ended with the two Andalusian presidents convicted and crying before the Supreme Court -Griñán is "destroyed", said his lawyer on Tuesday-.

Together they created a form of personal enrichment to stay in power using public funds, and they are all justly condemned.

It is unlikely that Chaves and Griñán took refuge in the ignorance of the irregular procedure of diversion of money, being the highest authorities, to defend their innocence.

Justice has issued a sentence and now it's up to the PSOE to purge responsibilities.

Instead, the party opted this Tuesday for the most absolute silence.

, as leader of the Socialists and honoring the acronym it represents, must apologize to the Andalusians and the rest of the Spanish for democratic decency.
