According to the Saitama Prefectural Police Headquarters, a man was holding a female employee in his twenties as a hostage at an internet cafe in Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture from the night of the 21st, but he secured his identity earlier.
Police arrested the man on the spot on suspicion of imprisonment.
