During the process of peeling off the structures of the collapsed buildings, the rescuers increased the duration and frequency of silent detection, never letting go of any corners or giving up any possibility.

  Zheng Jianxin, the mayor of Changsha and the commander of the Emergency Rescue and Rehabilitation Command for the collapse of the self-built houses of Changsha residents, introduced that he will continue to go all out to search and rescue the trapped people, and will never let go of any hope of life.

  According to preliminary investigation, the collapsed house has 8 floors, of which the 1st floor is a facade, the 2nd floor is a restaurant, the 3rd floor is a screening cafe, the 4th, 5th, and 6th floors are family hotels, and the 7th and 8th floors are self-occupied houses.

Tenants make structural changes to the premises to varying degrees.

  At present, Changsha is carrying out a comprehensive investigation and rectification of hidden safety risks in the field of housing construction.

As of May 4, a total of 403,359 self-built houses have been investigated, and various safety hazards identified in them are being rectified in accordance with the method of classified disposal.
