today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement that it will be acquired by a company wholly owned by Elon Musk, ”RIA Novosti quotes a statement.
It is noted that the cost of one share upon purchase will be $54.2, the total purchase amount is approximately $44 billion.
On April 5, it was reported that Musk would become a member of the board of directors of the social network Twitter.
