China News Service, Huzhou, April 8 (Shi Zinan, Wang Lizhong, Fu Lubo) Every afternoon, Cao Jiaqi will prepare the materials for the booth, put her mother who can't take care of herself in a van, and take her to Deqing, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. A corner of Huifeng Plaza, Wuyang Street, County.

"He is a well-known filial son in Shangbai Village. It has not been easy for so many years!" As a long-time customer of Cao Jiaqi's biscuits stall, Ma Xiao couldn't help crying every time he talked about him.

Cao Jiaqi, 48, is a native of Bai Village on Wuyang Street. Because his eyesight is only grade 4, he made a living by farming when he was young. "In my childhood impression, my mother was very hard-working and capable, and I basically never touched the farm work at home."

However, when Cao Jiaqi just passed his 22nd birthday, his mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

At first, it was only tremors in the hands and feet and slow movements, but later, the walking was unstable and it was easy to fall.

As the condition worsened, the mother gradually lost the ability to move, it became difficult to speak and swallow, and the time to wake up became less and less.

The house was flooded with rain overnight.

In July 2013, Cao Jiaqi's father died of illness, leaving him alone to continue to take his mother to seek medical treatment.

Shanghai, Huzhou, Hangzhou... Cao Jiaqi took his mother to all the famous hospitals for the treatment of Parkinson's disease in the surrounding area.

"In order to prevent the deterioration of the condition, the old lady had three stabs on the head." Every time he was hospitalized, Cao Jiaqi accompanied him throughout the whole process, and he never slept peacefully.

Although the mother's annual drug expenses account for more than half of the family's income, Cao Jiaqi never said a "no".

He said, "My mother has suffered all my life. It is my minimum duty as a son to honor and support her."

My mother was hospitalized for surgery and asked for money, and she could not stop taking medicine for three meals a day. Apart from making things together, Cao Jiaqi's family all depended on a small biscuits stall for their livelihood.

Speaking of the experience of learning to make biscuits, Cao Jiaqi smiled, "I figured this out by myself."

"Making biscuits is about fresh and real materials." After practicing for a while, Cao Jiaqi rode a three-wheeled battery car and began to sell.

In the process of selling biscuits, he carefully collected the opinions of customers and improved the biscuits.

In this way, his biscuits have become more and more decent, and they have also attracted many repeat customers.

However, the stall needs to go out and cannot be taken care of by his mother at all times.

After thinking about it, Cao Jiaqi decided to go to the stall behind his mother's back.

"My mother is inseparable from people now. I usually bring her when I go to the stall." After getting up at about 6 am every morning, Cao Jiaqi first prepares the ingredients, kneads the dough, and cooks. Give medicine, do housework and other chores.

Around noon, he began to prepare lunch and set up a stall.

Once, when he encountered a heavy rain on his way home from the stall, Cao Jiaqi protected his mother all the way, and did not take care of himself at all.

After returning home to serve his mother and resting, he did not bother to change clothes and wipe.

Due to the cold, he had a fever the next day, but he still insisted on taking care of his mother.

A year ago, Cao Jiaqi spent 10,000 yuan to buy a second-hand van in order to make his mother more comfortable on the road.

"Every day my mother rides back and forth in the car, I feel more relieved," he said.

Because of his illness, his mother's appetite was not good, so Cao Jiaqi went to great lengths to cook his meals in a different way.

Before several critical illness notices, he also begged the doctor again and again with tears in his eyes to treat his mother well.

More than 20 years later, from a young boy to half a hundred years old, Cao Jiaqi has never been married.

In the early years, there were also people who introduced him to him.

But after getting along, some found that the woman was of bad conduct; some girls saw his mother's situation and refused on the spot...

Later, Cao Jiaqi simply gave up the idea and devoted himself to taking care of his mother.

For 20 years, he has kept his family and home in good order by himself, and his mother has been able to enjoy the happiness of family.

"Sometimes my mother has hallucinations and makes trouble, and the stall can't go out, so I will watch her at home." Cao Jiaqi said that when his mother was rarely awake, she often watched him silently.

"I know in my heart that my mother is afraid of delaying me, but I think it's worth doing anything for her. Filial piety is the first priority, and you must fulfill your due responsibilities. This is the most basic conscience of being a person." Cao Jiaqi said.
