It calls "everyone to the greatest vigilance and to respect the safety instructions".

With the yellow vigilance announced by Météo-France for a phenomenon of "waves-submersion", this Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., the town hall of Nice has decided to close the access to the seaside.

The coastal path, the natural beaches of La Lanterne to Castel Plage, the site of the military baths on Boulevard Franck-Pilate as well as the site of the reserve and Coco Beach are thus inaccessible.

Reopenings “depending on the evolution of the situation”

The municipality indicates that it is “monitoring the situation closely” and specifies that it “may reopen access depending on the evolution of the situation”.
