Study: Sleeping less than 7 hours may lead to depression and diabetes

Medical reports warned of sleep deprivation experienced by patients with anxiety and depression, and linked the lack of rest due to lack of sleep to the balance of nervous activity.

 Harvard studies confirmed the relationship of sleep with obesity, diabetes and heart diseases, and that not getting enough rest hours may lead to poor ability to think clearly, and rapid response in addition to the effects on work, study and personal relationships.

According to Okaz, the university stressed the need to maintain adequate sleep hours, which range from 7.5 to 9 hours per day.
