On January 5, local time, Kazakhstan President Tokayev signed a presidential decree, and Kazakhstan entered a state of emergency.

On the same day, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan announced that this illegal protest has caused the death of at least 8 police and National Guard soldiers, and another 317 were injured.

  Kazakhstan President Tokayev said in the early morning of January 6, local time that he had requested the member states of the collective security organization to help Kazakhstan deal with the "threat of terrorism."

On the same day, Tokayev signed a decree to remove Masimov from the post of Chairman of the National Security Council (Ministry of Security) and appointed Sakimbayev, Director of the National Security Agency, as the Chairman of the Kazakhstan National Security Council (Ministry of Security).

The current Chairman of the Ji'an Security Council and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan stated on social media that the Ji'an Security Council has decided to send a peacekeeping force to Kazakhstan.

  Pashinyan said that in view of external interference and other factors that have posed a threat to Kazakhstan's national security and sovereignty, in response to the request of Kazakhstan President Tokayev, the Security Organization Security Council has decided to send peacekeeping troops to Kazakhstan.

Peacekeeping forces will be stationed in Kazakhstan within a limited time limit to stabilize the situation.
