From 0:00 to 24:00 on the 2nd, there were 90 newly confirmed local cases in Xi'an, all of which were mild.
In terms of the way of discovery, 80 cases were found in isolation control and 10 cases were found in closed areas; in terms of age structure, 7 cases were under 3 years old, 8 cases were 3 to 18 years old, 72 cases were 18 to 60 years old, and over 60 years old. 3 cases; in terms of gender distribution, 57 cases were male and 33 cases were female.

According to Lu Yongpeng, deputy director of the Xi’an Municipal Health Commission, 17 people have been cured so far, all of whom have been transferred to Xi’an Qinhuang Hospital for health monitoring and isolation rehabilitation.
There are currently 1,646 confirmed cases in the City Chest Hospital, the Aerospace District of the City Fourth Hospital, and the Chang'an District Hospital. The patients are mainly mild and ordinary, including 5 critical cases and 16 severe cases.

From 13:00 on the 3rd, nucleic acid screening will be carried out in 10 districts and counties including Xincheng District and Qujiang New District, communities where cases have occurred since December 26, 2021, and all closed areas in the region.
At the same time, nucleic acid screening was carried out in urban villages in Lianhu District, Weiyang District, Chang'an District, Baqiao District, Huyi District, Yanliang District, Xixian New District, and Aerospace Base.
According to relevant regulations, starting from the 3rd, Xi'an has added 2 high-risk regions and 7 new medium-risk regions.
As of now, the city has 3 high-risk areas and 64 medium-risk areas. Except for the announced high- and medium-risk areas, other areas of the city are still low-risk areas.
