For Tom Holland, it would be good to bring some diversity to the

Spider-Man

franchise

.

While

No Way Home

gave a boost to the box office at the end of the year by recording more than comfortable receipts, Marvel and Sony would already have in sight a new trilogy with Tom Holland.

However, during his last interviews, the actor expressed some reservations about putting on the spider-man costume again.

“I'm so grateful to Marvel and Sony for giving us this opportunity, for continuing with us while allowing our characters to progress.

It was amazing.

And that's why, while I don't want to say goodbye to Spider-Man, I feel like we should be ready to say goodbye to Spider-Man, he explained to People.

I don't want to be responsible for preventing the next young person who is coming and who deserves (this role) as much as I do.

“Especially since in terms of his successor, the actor would rather see… a successor.

Who to believe?

“I would like to see a more diverse future for Spider-Man - maybe with a Spider-Gwen or a Spider-Woman,” Holland continued.

We had three (incarnations of) Spider-Man in a row;

we were all the same.

It would be nice to see something different.

"Words that therefore leave doubt on a return of Tom Holland in the next Spider-Man.

However, with the recent announcement of a new trilogy, Sony producer Amy Pascal and Kevin Feige confirmed the actor's return.

Contradictory remarks which should leave a suspense to occupy the fans by the arrival of the next trilogy.
