  According to the arrangement, a total of about 630 general polling stations and no more than 24 dedicated polling stations will be set up throughout Hong Kong for 4.47 million registered voters to vote.

In order to facilitate the voting of Hong Kong voters who are in the Mainland due to the epidemic, the SAR government also set up polling stations at border control points for the first time.

  After the poll is over, most of the polling stations are designated as counting stations, and the ballot boxes for the functional constituencies and the Election Committee constituency will be transported to the central counting station at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

All election results will be announced at the press center located at the central counting station.

  According to data released by the Registration and Electoral Office, as of 21:30, the number of voters in direct district elections was about 1.3096 million, the number of voters in functional constituency elections was 676,500, and the number of voters in the Election Committee was 1,421.

Among them, the electoral committee's voter turnout rate reached 98.14%.

  According to the "Annex II to the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China on the Formation and Voting Procedures of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" revised by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the new Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region is composed of 90 members, including members elected by the Election Committee 40 members, 30 members elected by functional groups and 20 members directly elected by districts.
