After a corona outbreak with three deaths in a nursing home in Hildesheim, the public prosecutor's office is investigating a former employee of the facility.
There is a suspicion that the 44-year-old worked with a fake vaccination certificate in the home while she had Corona, said the prosecutor's spokeswoman on Friday.
Since three residents infected with the virus died in a close temporal context, the prosecution is also investigating the initial suspicion of manslaughter.
The accused admitted the use of the falsified vaccination certificate, the spokeswoman said.

The woman who worked as an everyday companion in the home was dismissed without notice, as facility manager Michael Ossenkopp told the dpa news agency.
