On the morning of December 12, the "New World Harbour Race" in Hong Kong, which had been suspended for two years, resumed. About 1,200 players participated in the "Competition Group" and "Youyou Group" competitions.

This year's "Victoria Harbour Swimming" uses a brand new track. Competitors depart from the public pier of Golden Bauhinia Square on Hong Kong Island, cross Victoria Harbour, and finally arrive at the end of the Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Swimmer Xian Zhanting, who participated in the Victoria Harbour Swimming for the sixth time, won the men’s “competition category” for the fourth time. Nie Zhiyan, who participated in the Victoria Harbour Swimming for three times, won the women’s “competition category” champion for the first time.

In response to the need to prevent and control the epidemic, all athletes of this year's "Harbour Swimming" must complete two doses of vaccines 14 days before the competition and present a negative test certificate before the competition.
