An American climbs the most famous Christmas tree in New York and sets it on fire (video)

In a shocking accident in Manhattan, New York, a man climbed the most famous Christmas tree in New York City and set it on fire.

Videos circulated by social media platforms on a global scale show the flames and smoke that rose from the tree that bears the name “All-American”, and is placed annually outside the building of the headquarters of the “Fox News” network.

And local police sources revealed that the fire broke out shortly after midnight and did not cause any injuries, noting that a 49-year-old man was placed in custody in connection with the fire.

But authorities did not identify him or provide any details about the fire.

It is noteworthy that the tree, which is 50 feet high, contains 10,000 decorative pieces and 100,000 lamps, was lit last Sunday.
