The big Christmas TV movie season starts this Monday on TF1 and M6 to help viewers wait until the end of the year celebrations.

This year, the first channel will offer a new one every day thanks to the resumption of television productions, disrupted by the health crisis.

New stories for the avid Christmas TV movie viewers.

If TF1 and M6 start the daily broadcast of these traditional end-of-year telefilms from this Monday afternoon, the first channel announces that it will broadcast a new one every day.

"We have more new films because production was able to resume after a somewhat chaotic year due to the Covid", explains Jonathan Escarpiado, deputy director of acquisitions, at the microphone of Philippe Vandel in the program

Diversity in the TV films offered

"This year, we will have more unreleased films, around 35, against a little less than 30 last year", continues Jonathan Escarpiado, who has noticed a change in the TV films themselves.

"There is more diversity in the films that we have received. The Americans are finally getting in tune. TV films will be more representative of society as it is," he says on Europe 1.

An ethnic diversity, sexual orientation among others will therefore be found on Monday on TF1.

The season begins with the broadcast of
