On July 23, a nearly 40-meter-long dam broke in the Hebi section of the Weihe River near Matou Village, Jun County, Hebi City, Henan Province.
A reporter from China News Agency saw at the scene that several trucks of stones and large trucks had been filled in the breach, and villagers from many surrounding towns and villages had moved.
