Mass escape from an Indian prison with salt and pepper

The Indian newspaper "India Today" quoted a police inspector as saying that the guards went to provide food to the prisoners, so the prisoners threw hot pepper and salt in the eyes of the guards, causing them pain, tears and loss of concentration. The prisoners stole a mobile phone from a guard and then managed to escape to my group.

DPA reported that the search for the escaped prisoners was still going on, and one of the inspectors told the BTI news agency that it was likely that the police would soon be able to arrest them again.

The closure is currently imposed between 3 pm and 5 am in the area where the accident occurred in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.
