Local firefighting, public security, port fishing, and civilian rescue teams rescued melon head whales on the spot.

  Recently, whales and dolphins stranded frequently occurred in Linhai, Taizhou, Zhejiang, and Ninghai, Ningbo, causing concern.

  Regarding the melon-headed whales stranded in Wenling this time, some netizens speculated whether the two melon-headed whales were rescued and released back to the sea after being rescued and released in Linhai, Taizhou?

  The reporter learned that according to the feedback from experts on the spot after measuring the body length of the whales, the body length of the two melon-headed whales stranded in Wenling this time was about 0.5 meters longer than the melon-headed whale that was stranded in the sea before, and the melon-headed whale that stranded in Wenling was about 0.5 meters longer. No pinholes were found on the body, basically it can be concluded that it is not a melon-headed whale that was released back into the sea.
